No telling how many times I've glanced at some of the pics and automatically assumed glyphosate damage. Hopefully they come up with a better solution than neonicitinoids, although I doubt we'll see it for a while.

I've never heard of it being found in Oklahoma, but there are so many emerging viruses worldwide that affect tomato plants that it would not surprise me if it is here. So many different things can cause chlorosis and similar symptoms that I wouldn't suspect TCV unless I'd been seeing whiteflies. So, I guess my question is, are you seeing whiteflies?

No whiteflies :D The articles just made me curious, because....OKLAHOMA, where the viruses/fungal diseases/invading hordes of pests come sweeping down the plain :O

Thanks, George - just when I was getting a handle on the spider mites, the deluge of rain hit - I wondered if it might be that. They're in raised beds, but it was a little flooded there for about a week or so.

Yes, Oklahoma where every possible disease and pest will blow in on the wind, and you know, the wind never seems to quit.

We have strongly alkaline soil and constantly have to work to try to lower the pH because our ground water (which includes our water co-op water that comes through the water system) is high pH. No matter how much organic matter I add to the soil to help lower the pH, the water fights us and tries to raise it. I don't see chlorosis as much as I did in our early years, but it still is a constant battle. Maybe it is just the recent heavy rainfall behind the chlorosis you're seeing.
