The top tile was a floor option, the second pic is the wall tile that would be laid in a brick pattern.

I would not use 2 patterns such as you show in one room.

Move the samples to the bathroom and see what you think. Sleep on it. If your gut says something is wrong, then it's too busy.

The top tile as a floor option would most likely be quite nice, however it might be better to do a plan white tile for the wall tile. Using both of these tiles in the bathroom might be a little too much.

I like the floor tile, but not marble for the walls. I'd suggest white subway or squares to keep it classic in a small space. I don't know about your budget, but remember that the labor for tile gets pricey. GL

I love the first tile, but I agree with everyone else: Don't use both tiles. Both will compete for attention.

Tricia, you can use the carrara subway tile on the walls, just don't do it in the herringbone. it's fine to use the same marble tile.

you could also use a plain white subway tile, wallpaper, a white wainscot, or paint the walls a bold color and use a white wainscot. lots of options
