@mforr-Yes, the three last crotons that I still have in the pot I think is an overkill. I think that I just need something for the ground to finish it up. Walmart do have a small garden center, I had to run there today for more dirt and bigger pot.

hi pamela. sometimes the linens and accessories are all shades of white,gray and silver. other times i switch to a bright turquoise or pink theme. deeer tones in winter. the advantage to keeping the permanent items neutral.
chalk painted the master vanity today. still need to glaze. painted a couple of small pieces of furniture. taking a break between priming french chairs that need to go to the upholsterer later this week if she can take them.

maybe bobbi and hubby went to a movie to stay cool.
bobbi, are you going to glaze the silver leaf? usually a white or black antique looks best.

I guess it's helpful for cooling the house when the vents aren't closed. I found three on the main level that were shut. No wonder it was so hot in here when I got home. Doesn't help that all the blinds in the great room were open either.

Hi all! Sorry I was very quiet yesterday. As if the heat wasn't enough, the computer picked up a virus and was down all afternoon. R worked liked hell on it and finally had to put it back to a few days ago just so we could use the dang thing. We have a firewall and an anti-virus program, both are up to date, but somehow something got in and made a giant mess of everything.

And it cooled off four degrees! Down to 108, isn't that special? The air conditioner isn't working any more so now I have to call and fight with the home warranty company to get it replaced. It is seriously too hot to breathe!

So anyway, I hope you all had a great afternoon yesterday and does everyone have Friday off to make it a long weekend?
