I have the Berenson finger pulls, as illustrated above, in both my homes, and love them. Them have a clean, minimal look, and help avoid fingerprints on the cabinet doors and drawer fronts. A good option for you to consider.

I had no handles on my upper cabinets and a routed pull on the lower edge. If I was doing anything at all messy I opened them with a paper towel in my hand. We got so used to doing it it was no big deal but I wouldn't do it in my upcoming kitchen remodel.

We have glossy blue with touch latches in our office kitchen. Clean look but yes, they show fingerprints. You also have to make sure you push at just the right spot to get the doors/drawers to open or else you have to push twice. It would be frustrating if it were in my own kitchen.

I love the look of high gloss slab cabinets without handles...but the function is blech. And yes, they will attract fingerprints like mad. My parents did a remodel with high gloss white cabinets and finger pulls and they looked fantastic! The finger pulls are nice as they don’t really detract from the clean lines of the slabs (and also prevent the fingerprints that will also be a distraction!).

I really like the idea of full length edge pulls, as you suggested, Hallet & Co. Just depends on total cost, and if I can find the somewhere at a good price here in Canada.

Comp56, what is the original method of opening the cabinets? Was it easy to drill holes in the high gloss white cabinets to add the handles?

I am nervous to drill into high gloss, is there any trick to not chipping/cracking the shiny surface?

I made a jig to drill all the holes in the high gloss, clamped wood on both sides to avoid chipping worked a treat...
