Looped Wool Carpet

I am looking into a wool looped carpet fo a great room. My biggest concern is piling or fuzz. Has anyone used a large loop carpet? The carpet that I like so far is Godfrey Hirst's "Venus" for heavy traffic. I have no pets.

I cannot recommend Godfrey Hirst. I had to be very persistent in getting them to replace a 50/50 wool nylon carpet that was rated as residential/heavy duty. It started to fuzz and pill, worse in the traffic areas, shortly after it was installed.

We had this at our old house and stuff got pulled on it and then it created problems.

I hate carpet in a space where you have greasy popcorn drinks etc .Wool carpet is nice I guess in bedrooms but not in high traffic areas , they pack down and are difficult to get stains out of.

Our neighbors had this type of carpet. No pets, but 2 children ages 4 and 6. Carpet didn't hold up a year. Looked terrible within 6 mos. of installing it.

I was considering something similar for bedrooms in a ski condo (the rest of the condo is hard wood) but after reading this I'm a little spooked. Anyone have any experience with Unique Carpet Ltd? Any feedback?
