Catching up on posts

Got a chance and a little patience to see if I can post a few, hope I haven't already posted them. Autumn Blaze

The last flower on Bengali just a few days ago, it has a rebloom scape. I wonder if I should cut it off to put energy back into the plant. I only have 2 fans, just planted last fall. This one seems like it is really going to be a good one, doesn't fade badly for a dark one, and while I see a bit of splotching in the pictures, I don't notice it in person.

I'm really behind, so maybe a few more. Westbourne Easter Sunrise, I'm not really excited about this flower-the color and it is small-but it is a later one and heavy bloomer

Sailor Sky is another one I can't seem to capture the color, similar to Coral Majority

    Shaka Zulu

Dave Haliman is a little taller than usual, a good thing because it is still a short one with huge blooms.

Some really lovely blooms,Nancy! I’m having trouble picking a favorite, Arnold’s Daughter and Magic Amethyst are on the top of the list. I like Wild Child, a little different, I hope it does well for you this time! Oops, your second section just popped up, its nice to see Sailor Sky, it was added here last fall and haven’t seen it yet.

Can I add 2 more, they were added this spring & I was so excited to see them bloom

Jerry Hyatt had a bloom a couple of days ago but I missed it, this is it today, 2 blooms, but one is shy

Diana Grenfell had its first bloom this morning. Looked surprisingly good, just before the storm this afternoon

What a nice collection of blooms on this post! Bengali does look like a good one. I do love sharp, white teeth. I can never make myself cut off rebloom scapes, but it probably does make for a stronger performance the next year. Arnold's Daughter has such a pretty eye and edge, and I like the group shot of Autumn Wood. Jerry Hyatt and Diana Greenfell are gorgeous purples!

Nice, Nancy. Shaka Zulu & Magic Amethyst are my faves of these.

Also, Dave Haliman is actually called Daveo Holman. https://garden.org/plants/view/8695/Daylily-Hemerocallis-Daveo-Holman/

Although I tend to favor the hotter colors, I also like the softer look such as Arnold’s Daughter-really pretty in your photo. Love all your purples! Nice post with something for everyone.

Nice pictures! I really like Bengali. We added that one this spring but haven't seen it bloom yet. I also Delia O'Bryan Brown. I love daylilies with that rose red color.

Actually, the Autumn Wood pic is very good. Really captures the warm colors. Not familiar with Delia Brown; must not be well distributed. You also capture wellthe color gradations on Jerry Hyatt and the richness of Shaka Zulu. Magic Amethyst is also throwing nice blooms here this year. Bengali--those teeth are savage!

Sherry, i got Sailor Sky last fall. It has had an amazing number of blooms. I have not been able to count, it is behind several other plants and large shrubs behind it, but seems impressive for a first year plant.

Thanks Brad, I had it written correctly in my album, guess I was so excited that I was able to post so easily I could not type well.

Kate, I tend to like the look of Arnold's Daughter, I have several with that look. This is not the best for bud count, not really my favorite, but it is extra pretty this year.

Thanks Maryl, my absolute favorite colors for daylilies are like Shaka Zulu, dark with the watermarks. This is a good one.

Nancy, I hope Bengali does as well for you. It had quite a few blooms to be so new, I am very happy with it.

Delia does not seem to be a popular one, but it does quite well for me. Large flower, nice color, a little ruffle, and the flowers open well. I could wish for more blooms, but it has a respectable number mist years, and usually rebloomed. It does not seem to have as many buds this year though.

I always liked the name Shaka Zula. Arnold's Daughter is such a pretty one, and Jerry Hyatt is lovely. Della O'Bryan Brown is such a pretty one, I can see why you like it. a very nice post with so many pretty blooms, Nancy.

Beautiful collection of blooms! Bengali catches my eye, as does Arnold’s Daughter. Pretty clump of Autumn Wood. Lots of nice purples as well. Great post!
