I'm getting ready to tear mine out. not due to lack of fruit, as the second year i had it, it started producing and has always put out a bumper crop. sadly, i do not enjoy the taste. we would just take them and add them into smoothies and tomato sauce for the nutritional benefits.

looks like yours is in an area that gets full sun, so no idea why it isn't producing. For the space it takes up, i think there are better tasting things to grow.

Thanks Jason, your input is especially useful since you have a productive bush. What do you think you will put in its place? I will probably plant my grafted IE mulberry there, but will wait until the bees have more forage -- severe drought here right now, and this is one of the few things flowering that my bees like!

I also have one that has been productive most years, even before they were planted in round. They produced berries growing in six inch pots. That said, I also don't enjoy the the taste as I hoped to. They are sweet, but have a strange after taste that kind of kills it for me. We also resorted to putting them in smoothies. At the moment I'm thinking of replacing them with thorn-less primocane black berries.
