Goji: get rid of or keep?

To all of you with experience growing goji, should I give this plant (about 4 years old, 6 feet tall, very healthy and vigorous) another chance to prove its usefulness? It has flowered profusely the past two years, but has never set more than a few berries. Those that I have tasted have been good. Now it is beginning to spread like crazy, and I feel like I need to decide soon whether I am going to keep it. I have read many discussions about other folks with the same problem (goji flowering but not setting fruit), but other than the mention of age (they apparently take two or three years to start setting fruit), and unconvincing discussions of other random factors, I could not find a satisfactory explanation, nor any suggestion of how to correct it.

Have any of you out there experienced this and overcome it? If so, what was the answer? Is this plant worth keeping?
