New Bedroom-Bedding

I moved into a house two weeks ago and I am having a very difficult time with the master bedroom.

Here are the details of the room:

Walls: Sherwin Willams 7075 Web Gray

Furniture: Cherry wood

Carpet: Gray/Black


The issue I am having is the comforter set and pillows I have are black and gold damask and it does not match. The walls to my eye look almost navy blue or steel blue rather than gray.


Need: What color design comfort/duvet and quilt/coverlet would you all do? I have looked for weeks and I am just jumbled now.

    I agree with Rita. If you are committed to the wall color (which I would change) then get white hotel style bedding, with a contrasting stripe.

    Then get several accent pillows to add some color and pattern. I'd also do curtain panels, maybe a sheer linen, on a rod with rings, and some sort of privacy shade.
