After almost 18 years of living in my home we would like to update. I know that I have beautiful cabinets... however they are not my preference of a dream kitchen. Resurfacing, or painting them are not an option since my husband believes that would be sacreligious to ruin perfectly beautiful cabinets. Therefore will need to work with them. We own an 18 year old Craftsman home that still has carpet and ceramic tile. We would love to put solid flooring throughout the first floor, possibly change the back splash and repaint the walls. We have been considering all flooring from hardwood to woodlike tile.... however it has been challenging working with my orange toned natural cherry cabinets... which I have alot of throughout my kitchen. Would love feedback for ideas on flooring, backsplash and colors that will compliment these cabinets. Also we are thinking future projects of changing out countertops too.
