Assuming you wanted to spend whatever money it took to take down a wall, wouldn't it be relatively simple to just replace whatever tiles are necessary to finish off the flooring. You just bought the flooring so it would be easy for you to get additional boxes - I assuming there wouldn't be difficulties with it being a different lot.

The bigger issues are the additional support that your home will need in order to remove that wall. That creation of the posts and beam is going to be far more destructive to a plastic floor than anything. You may need s reinforced post and new foundation at the point loads. There’s also HVAC and electrical in that wall that will need relocating. This isn’t a small job at all. It’s a very big job.

You’d be better off to just remove all of the flooring even close to the wall, and relay it later after the Pros are done with all of the dust generating things, inclufing the new drywall ceiling and jackhammering the slab for the new foundation supports.

Also, i noticed you did not give a big expansion gap against this wall (yes I know you plan to remove it). Wondering if you allowed expansion gaps on the other walls? If not, you'll have issues with the flooring down the road.

You might get a good weave if you made a jig and cut the tile with a laminate trimmer with a 1/4" straight bit. You'd probably have to rip off a few groove bottoms too, but for such a small area a little adhesive on the tongue may get you by.

Thank you for all the great ideas. It is not a load bearing wall. I have contacted the flooring company who installed the floor and they will come back to fix the floor once the wall has been removed. I just have to purchase additional planks, which they do have in stock. Again, thank you for all the ideas.
