Tuscawilla Tigress is in the hospital bed now, but just came back to see a beautiful display there by it. Takes a lot of space, but color that stands out. I too like the last seedling, but if bud count is low....

Really nice seedlings! Your Howdy seedling catches my eye. I also really like the third and six seedlings but all are lovely.

The last seedling is definitely a keeper.

I like Walk in the Clouds. It's a late one, isn't it? You have a lot of pretty seedlings, and you seem to grow them tall. The Howdy seedling is a nice one to have in the late season, and it seems to have clumped up pretty quickly. I love the third UF purple with the black eye. Can you tell us the pod parent on that one? The last one is really pretty. I would keep it, even if the bud count is low. It has that nice double edge, large bloom, and it's tall! What's the pod parent on that one? It kind of reminds me of Hillbilly Heart.

Tuscawilla Tigress is an oldie, not fancy, but it does catch the eye. The Howdy seedling has clumped up scary fast. I don't like having to divide, and have already given away a good section. Walk in The Clouds is a late. Isn't it a nice late to have? I have not been able to get to the plant to check the tag, if there is one. They do mysteriously disappear on me. There are a lot of seedlings blooming around it and I don't want to lose blooms. I got String Theory about that time so would imagine that is the parent, but not sure.

The tag on the bottom plant got dislodged, 2 tags close could be either one. Hillbilly Heart is one of them, Wisest of Wizard's x Little light of Mine is the other. I fancy it is Hillbilly Heart also, I tried setting tet pollen on it, but no luck.

Nice seedlings , Nancy. I grow Howdy, it’s scapes are 40”-48” tall here. How tall is your seedling? Wow!

Really Sherry? I wonder if mine really is Howdy then, mine has never been taller than 20". This seedling is about 40"plus tall, I had crossed with a tall spider hoping for bi toned tall spider.

I didn't know you had String Theory. How does it do for you?

Nancy, Howdy stats say 40”. That does match what I see here for the most part.

Debra, Nancy got A Walk in the Clouds from me and soon it will be in your garden too! It really is a great late. For some reason mine is sending up scapes already when it normally blooms in August but lots of my lates are doing that. Nancy, I'm glad it is happy in it's new home! It clumps up fast, just to let you know.

I guess my Howdy is not really Howdy. I have had it so long, the picture looked right. I guess i did not look close enough to the stats. No matter, I was planning on composting my Howdy when it finishes blooming, I like the seedling much better.

I like that 2nd from the last one. Nice clean color, good form and a brilliant yellow throat........I grew Tuscawilla Tigress forever. It's a good reliable bloomer. Doesn't hold it's color as well as I would have liked in my heat, but in a cooler climate it should do very well............Maryl
