those are beautiful!..I have 2 Bloomstrucks..they were late summer 2017 bargains..not beautiful specimens..this pic was taken a few weeks ago..that's a TwistNShout between the Bloomstrucks..love the darker leaves on Bloomstruck..

Thank you! I’m curious, how did yours return this year? Were they a total die back?

not a total dieback because I protected them..I surrounded them with garbage bags full of leaves..then covered them with leaves..not pretty but I think it helped them..had just a few dead ends..still deciding what to do this winter..hoping for a not so ugly solution..maybe stakes, burlap and leaves..

thanks I’m still trying to decide what to do with mine. I’m sure whatever it is it won’t be pretty either lol.

Yes, and being way up north, my means of protection will need to be thick and deep. I keep spying 'Bloomstruck' at HD and I guess I'll give in one of these days and make the purchase.

mintcar..isn't it rewarding saving sad clearance plants?..my yard is full of them..

Mine too!

The pink one pictured was on clearance at Meijer for $8.99. It had a few spent blooms and a couple crispy leaves...

nicholsworth...it certainly is rewarding! :) Gardening teaches me patience!
