My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Stuttgart imposter!

I ordered two Stuttgart canna rhizomes. I kept one and gave one to my uncle. They both turned out the same. While this is a pretty canna (aren't they all?), I do not believe this is Stuttgart. Seems that it may have been mislabeled.

Do you think I should send a picture to the vendor and let them know?


I'm sad. I waited so long to be able to order one and then even longer for it to grow out of that bulb.


My uncle sent me this picture. The one I gave him is on the right. Looks just like mine. The one on the left he ordered from another vendor.

    Some years ago I purchased some bagged Stuttgart rhizomes and when they grew, the leaves were all green. Upon some further online research I learned that the white variegation in Stuttgart is caused by an unstable tissue mutation and that they can revert to all green. It was also reported that eventually the leaves may develop the variegation, or not... So, this may be the case with yours popmama. Anyway, notifying the seller may help you with an explanation, or some replacements. Good luck!
