We recently bought a new house with a pool. Upon looking at the backyard, I want to update it. Specifically, I want to get rid of the concrete sidewalk around the pool and replace with nice large pavers. Can you safely remove the concrete with damaging the pool edge? Also, once removed, would you need to mortar coping stones around the pool edge to replace the solid concrete that previously existed there? Also, I would appreciate any design/layout ideas for the entire backyard. There is not a designated area right now that you put a conversation furniture set. I have thought about the possibility of adding a covered seating area and/or pergola somewhere. We have also had thoughts of making that red deck (as seen in the pictures) much larger and putting seating out there. I am open to all ideas. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
