We paid extra for a licensed painter to paint our cabinets. He’s been in the business for over 40 years. The cabinets are already chipping and paint is rubbing off within the first week. I’m also seeing drops on the cabinets. He used PPG Breakthrough and I’ve had their rep come take a look to see if the paint was the problem. He said no, it’s the application/painter. He was even shocked because he refers this painter out when people are looking for painters. These cabinets need to be redone, but the painter just thinks he needs to add another coat of paint. I’m afraid it’ll make it worse. I wish I could just get my money back and use someone else whose knowledgeable. Any thoughts on what I can do?
