Flopping Annabelle support question

I planted Annabelle’s last fall and they are blooming nicely, but naturally flopping as expected. I’m wondering if I should cut the blooms from the very small canes to let them stand back up and get stronger, or will it not make a difference?
or, would semi circular supports like these work?
