Barbmock is right. It's perfect normal, and it's actually a healthy sight. I have a Sans pinguicula, a small single plant, that just started to put out a tiny pup -- so tiny I wasn't sure it really WAS a pup. But in the last week, that tiny pup started growing a root in mid-air, looking for soil! Your plant looks very healthy, lots of growth. Enjoy it!

Barbmock & Robinswfl - thank you for the information. I did not know that sans can have air roots, S. aethiopica is the only one that has them. I'm not worried anymore :)

S. Pinguicula and S. Parva produce new shoots, often far of the mother plant, above ground, before making new roots. This is a good opportunity for producing new plants as leaf cuttings develop much more slowly.

Those are only air roots because the parent plant jettisoned its young directly out of the pot, as there didn't appear to be enough room in the pot, or perhaps the plant values its personal space...

Usually the sans I have had will send the rhizome out underground and the pups will appear a short distance away from the parent.
