Help with my laurel! It’s an Otto Luyken variety and I planted two of them, side by side, in spring 2016. I water diligently at summer, and since then do not water as I get plenty of rain for my garden, which is in the Philadelphia suburbs. This spring I noticed the one laurel getting yellow leaves. Eventually the yellowing leaves increased, and I just came home from a long vacation to a totally dead plant! Now, I’m noticing that the laurel next to it is getting yellow leaves. What could be the problem? They get some sun in the morning and some very filtered afternoon sun. Any idea?
