What kitchen WHAT gray /taupe floor, which of the possible million shades of "white"? What are the appliances? What are the colors and tones in the rest of your home........................etc and photo as above : )

Lol... trying to load some photos

White cabinets, spa stone Bianca floor tile, stainless steel appliances...

Here are 2 quartz options... I like the quartz but like the natural look of granite too

Transitional style in other rooms of house, blues/ grays

Your floor tile appears very BEIGE in the last photo. What are the samples sitting on?

Jan, in the last photo they are being laid in the kitchen, plywood under. White mortar

Laundry room and surrounding rooms have oak colored hardwood floors as send in last pic

You have a lot of movement in your floor. I'd keep the countertops simple and plain.

We are just doing ours, uppers are Edgecomb grey (basically creamy white), floors have taupe, and taupy backsplash. We are going with quartz, there are many slight variations on this but here it is in case this is helpful. This quartz had the greys and warmth we were looking for. Good luck!
