My 60’s plain, wood-sided ranch with hip roof, new neutral driftwood shingles, needs new paint color. Spectacular setting NW Michigan, small lake/wetland/creek/meadows/forest, wildlife. I like warm, earth colors. Considering dark chocolate/expresso brown, no contrast trim except white doors could be duck egg blue?
Also love warm deep green-blue-greyed, and mossy olive. Windows vinyl clad white slimline, will not paint. Garage door can be painted. New main door beautiful natural fir. Old red deck to be replaced with small stoop/steps/stone pathway to patio. It has been suggested to look at Farrow & Ball pigeon equivalents and a deeper trim. Not visible from road, very rural.
