Bedroom overhaul!

We just had this custom built in closet/dresser built for my 10 year old son now the rest of the room is crying for new paint, rug, fan and shades. We bought a new bed (black like the wall desk and closet) but haven't set it up yet. I would like to do an accent wall in the nook behind the bed and put in floating shelves. What colors would look good?
Oh yeah, the wood trim has to stay :(

PRO13 years agolast modified: 13 years agoDo you have a bedding set selected yet? Often times it's easier to match colors/accessories to the bedding set rather than the other way around. Also I would suggest getting something that will grow with him. It's okay to have just a bit of an adult feel while still remaining fun :)
