A couple liquid feedings with Miracid, two weeks apart, should cure its chlorosis. Followups may be needed periodically. That's my solution to your problem. It's quick, cheap, and works.

Some rose varieties just have a 'chlorosis gene,' for lack of a better term. They will be chlorotic growing in some gardens while all the other roses around them, growing in the same soil will have rich, dark green leaves.

My Beverlys both of them, 15' apart, were chlorotic all the time while all their immediate neighbors, getting the same care, were lush, dark green foliaged.

You find this trait with some white, light pink flowered roses. My Jacques Cartier was a chlorotic nightmare. Perhaps such roses require more acidic soil than the average rose. Whatever, the Miracid will work wonders.

Never liquid feed a dry, dehydrated rose. Water it well, then liquid feed. Make a gallon of Miracid mix. Slowly pour 1/2 gallon of it around Secret's drip line, the rest on its center. Then take a half gallon of water in a watering can and water the rose bush getting the foliage wet, rinsed off. You're done for that feeding.

Let me guess. You are somewhere it has been raining, and raining, and then, for something different, it rains again. That washes the nitrogen out of the soil, and some roses need a quick boost. Or you could just wait it out until things dry out a bit.

I have been debating whether to fertilize again because of all the rain but I too am seeing some chlorosis so the debate is over. I think I have enough Miracid left for one round. I used fish/kelp twice and Rosetone earlier this year but I'm sure it is long gone after constant rain.
