each has a little explanation. Last year I did Sunny Skies, a MSQC variation of Sunny Lanes. Their construction of the chevrons left 3 1/2 in. HSTriangles, too big to toss. So I repeated the pattern using those hst to make the chevron, slightly smaller than the first. I was also using leftover bits for the border and binding. I did not have enough green to add to the border so instead made a wider binding, kind of a frame.
My version of the string x block, certainly not as effective as Lois' with the green.
Another string block, with more strings still in the bucket. Again a wider border as a tryout.
My version of TG Linda's quilt. How to quilt this was a challenge. I ended up by just sewing across with wavy lines, no set distance apart, just random. I might try that again on another Quilt.
