Cleaning Tips Appliances Kitchens

Stained fridge.

The house I purchased came with a stainless double door fridge and stainless steel glass top stove as well. Upon noticing that it had a few stains on it I bought a (magic) cleaner & the cleaner made it worst is there a way to fix this? I tried uploading a photo but cannot see that option.

Hopefully that is Stainless Steel and not a Stainless Finish. If it is Stainless Steel you can try wiping it down with CLR, (try in a small unseen spot first). The CLR should remove the mineral stains. After cleaning use a good SS polish to protect the SS.

I have not thought about that.. How will I know if its stainless finish?

I had the same issue on my stove. I made a paste with baking soda and it worked for me.

someone on this forum had suggested baking soda and hydrogen peroxide. I didn’t have the peroxide so tried with out. My stain was small . I Would try with peroxide if you have it on hand. Let us know if it works

I would suggest looking up the ref and seeing what the manufacturer recommends before experimenting...
