Dealing with large windows, at night, from the inside....

We are building a house with large, modern windows. Beautiful views during daylight, but how do we avoid having cold looking "sheets" of large dark glass at night? Drapes and shades can help, but if they are drawn closed, it could feel more confined than it should. Ideas?

Hmmm...look at the Nana wall system. Then think "outside the box" and consider art instead of glass panels for covering your windows at night. You could even have the panels made with those huge photographic nature scenes wallpaper.
