    Thanks for your interest! The shingles are #1 perfection 18" red cedar and the stain is a Cabot's bleaching oil.

      The shingles can be purchased through various lumber yards in our area. If you would like to call our direct number (203) 254-1971, we would be happy to point you in the right direction. The shingles have aged well on the home and we have had no complaints regarding red cedar shingles or Cabot's bleaching oil in recent years.

      What maintenance is required with these oil bleached cedar shingles? And is the oil applied before or after the shingles are hung? Thanke

      The oil is applied after the shingles are hung and should require no maintenance.
