I like the cedar it is. If it needs redoing, I would stain it cedar again. If it has gotten too bad, try the solid color cedar stain. A good power washing first though, should take care of any staining, and maybe you can put on regular oil base stain. From the picture you posted, it looks more like it needs landscaping, and the door painted a different color than it does the siding redone. A pathway from the front door to your driveway would look very nice too. Right now, it just looks like a vacant house that no one lives in, but, it is actually a very nice house.

I know...It’s looks bad! We pulled shrubs up and are replanting after we stain or paint, I removed my outdoor furniture and plants from the porch and took my ferns down to take a picture....I’m trying to find a site that I can upload a picture and test some paint colors. I haven’t considered a walkway! I like that idea. Thanks!
