Jane Goodall is So Lovely!

I got this rose as an ownroot from the late season sale. Boy, am I glad that I did! Though it is too small to judge its performance, the flowers are so gorgeous. The pink color is incredibly beautiful just like how it's described by J&P " a living snapshot of a sunrise". The flowers last a long time on the bush too. They still look very nice even when they are fully opened, very much like my Salmon Dream peony. Does anyone else grow this rose? Please share pics of it if you have them. Thanks.

Was there some sort of overnight "upgrade" to Houzz? Since last night I'm only able to see pics on my newer phone, but not on my older ipad or laptop. I'll take your word, Kristine that this is a pretty rose! Wish I could remember where I last put my phone. : ((

It's too young to know if it is a good healthy rose. When I got it in early June, it was pretty small and almost bare with few leaves. It has taken a bit of time to grow but it has given me 3 beautiful blooms so far. So for a 2 months old rose in a pot, i think it is not too bad. It is so beautiful that I think I can forgive its other faults should it prove to be not disease resistant. The color is just so nice from bud to fading.

The same bloom above today. The color is still very nice! It still has that beautiful glow.
