I don't know where or how such spots like that appear. Mine does that and don't seem to be a problem. My guess is all the above so watch to see if any more appears. If a problem, like mealy bugs (which I doubt), use a cheap mouth wash to spray the plant. If available, try something like Bayer 3 in 1 but I don't see nothing seriously wrong here.

That looks to be a very nicely grown plant. In your climate are you going to plant it in the ground? Wish I could grow plants that nice.

I went to Costco & got mouthwash with Thymol after reading another of your posts. Should I dilute?

I have no ground for it. It will have to stay in a pot. I’m pleased with the pupping it has done. I guess that’s the result of never experiencing cold. Off-topic, but, even my ZZ plants grow pretty quickly here. One is lifting itself out of its pot right now. I’ll take that over bursting.
