I am not familiar with the galley tap.

I will say that I worked in a kohler showroom that has the Karbon, and it was awful. I'm not sure if you have tried it, but I would highly recommend doing so. It was really awkward to move around. If you're planning on it being in the same position, and just using the running water, go for it. But when you try to maneuver it to rinse the sink etc. it is super awkward IMO.

Yes ... I just got a quote for 57” Galley double bowl sink with two Galley Tap faucets ... the sink is around $5,300 and the Tap is $1,860 each ... outrageous ... lol ... I will buy the sink but not the two Taps ...

I don't understand why people believe they need to spend thousands on a sink and faucet(s) in order to have good quality. There are many, many reliable manufacturers with lifetime warranties from whom you can easily get these items for under $1000 total. When you get into the multi-thousand dollar range you're paying for styling, not superior quality in my experience. Go to a reliable online source, like build.com, and do a search of the Kohler, Moen, and Delta brands, among others. You'll find hundreds of choices with great reviews. When my under $200 Moen faucet developed a tiny drip from one of the lines after 15 years, I called them and they sent me an identical replacement in a couple of days for free. Even if you spend thousands on a faucet, it still has moving parts and will need at least cartridge replacement at some point. When that happens, you want to deal with a company that is still in business and will have spare parts readily available in the U.S. That won't necessarily be so when one buys expensive faucets from boutique brands that have limited distribution networks or get their high-end faucets from, say, some small village in Italy.

The battering my sink get ....it's good old stainless steel for me ...if it goes pair shaped it's a lot cheaper to change out!

They are quoting me $6500 for a 36" Galley Sink...I got a second quote, on the same sink, from another cabinet company and it was even higher @ $7,300...Would love to know where the above commenters got the $5000 quote for a 57" Galley sink...

Yeah, haven't gotten my price on the 5' galley sink yet, but the MSRP on the larger tap is $2300, there is a smaller version that can work with the smaller sink, but I haven't found any other faucets that will let me reach the full length and depth of the sink with only one faucet.

@charlestonchew look at the Julien Smartstation and the Ruvati Workstation sinks. You might find a better price. I found custom sink quotes were the same at the Galley Workstation, so it was a wash. The two shops I talked to in Portland, OR were closer to $3600 and $4700 for the 48" Galley and Julien sinks, respectively.
