You can plant them the same day

Okay thank you, I am wanting to wait till the spring to plant them but wasn’t sure if that would too long

They should be fine. I had seeds from my seed pod in 2016 and planted some in Spring 2017 and the rest in Spring 2018. If you're worried, you could always start a seed or two now and keep them in your house over winter... but yeah, I think you'll be fine waiting for spring if you prefer to do that.
