Thank you for making me laugh. Yes, I did figure it out. It just seems if after prolonged period of time of not going to the website I think of asking a question and log in, it changed. Change, the only constant.

Welcome back! Most of us dislike the new face of Gardenweb and hoards have left the community. But if you stick around, you will at least get used to the many problems with the website, lol.

rhizo_1 (North AL) It's the reason I don't come to Garden Web as much as I used to. I spent quite a bit of time on the old website. Read other people's posts and learned from others. I don't visit Garden Web for problems, I visit to get informed and enlightened. It's supposed to be an enjoyable time when we browse, a time well spent. This is more of a distraction than anything else! What puzzles me is, why is Houzz making the website difficult to navigate? If it was more user friendly gardeners would visit more often and feel more inclined to look at Houzz itself.

And the more time you spend here under the new format, the more familiar you will become with it and the easier it will be to navigate - I have to admit to a degree of shock and displacement when the format changed as well. But it only took a day or two to become familiar with the new set up and I don't find it has any significant differences from the older renditions of Garden Web. A few more technical glitches now and then but even those are gradually being worked out. Many of the same people and many of the same questions. And enough new of both to keep things interesting :-))

Things have only gotten worse since I wrote complaining of the changes. Houzz is relentless. When I looked for Canadian forum short time ago couldn't find anything. But they sure want to know what I'm buying. They are worse than some politicians. Won't mention any names!.

Here's the Gardening in Canada forum and also the Far North Gardening forum, if that applies.
