OP, ncrealestateguy is right. It is a simple feed from our MLS(s) to most of the websites like Zillow or Estately etc. We can't change any of the info unless it is an actual field in the MLS input form. The walkability scores are from 3rd party vendors and their algorithms are proprietary.

I don't know why, only that they are proprietary methodologies and that we can't manipulate the results or the info that is used to generate the score.

The difference between 0.8 miles and 0.9 miles is trivial -- about 500 ft -- and is undoubtedly the result of how different algorithms work, not the result of some nefarious scheme to convince you that a walk to the Publix store might take 30 seconds less under one of the listings.

Thanks, kudzu. Sorry if I wasn't clear. I thought I said as much about the distance in my first post. It's the fact that closer but less desirable results don't appear when I go through certain aggregating real estate sites that interests me. That and the fact that the walkscore itself varies by as much as six points, depending on how you get to it.
