I've read it's pronounced 'adeenum'

I've never heard the word spoken aloud by anyone but me =0)

and I've called it 'ah-den-ee-um'

I know this sounds silly but it never occurred to me that I might be pronouncing wrong, until I read the first phonetic pronouncement
