Cacti & Succulents Exchange Design Dilemma Ask The Yard Doctor

I’m looking for some ideas for how to landscape this area.

I love my Japanese maple, but everything else is hodgepodge. Any ideas? I saw a beautiful display of succulents at Queen Elizabeth park in Vancouver that I loved.

You might take a step back and take a photo with more of your property/house in view so landscaping folks can see the project area in context.

Here are a few more photos. It’s a fairly large area with a Japanese maple, dogwood, and apple tree.

I think the landscape pros may mostly hang out in the "[Landscape Design[(https://www.houzz.com/discussions/landscape-design-discussions-dsbr0-bd~t_29774)" forum. You might create a new post and tag it with only Landscape Design.

Your trees look gorgeous! The small plants look like they could do with some grouping together of the same species, otherwise it can look hodgepodge like you said.
The pros can give more detailed advice on the smaller plant groupings.
