When you first upload a photo, it looks sort of blurry. Once it's completely uploaded, the full color and sharpness are shown. I think you're not successful because the photo is either in the wrong format (has to be .jpg format) or the file is too large. Try reducing your photo's file size.

I cannot post photos for a new topic using Internet Explorer 11, but it works fine with Firefox. Replying with photos works fine with IE for me.

Looks like it was a temporary glitch on Houzz side. (Explorer??? Why???)

The picture tried to load but then clicked back to the paragragh - empty. I tried a couple different photos and it was a .jpg. I am going to check out Ken's site for reporting problems. Thanks for all your comments.

At least it is not the size of the file - I intentionally used 10mb file - and Houzz shrunk it to the size. Probably some mismatch between the browser and Houzz - addblock or something. Hopefully the support can help.

At least fifty percent of the times I try to put a picture in a response the whole thing, pics and text, disappears. This would be a livelier conversation if the glitches weren’t so discouraging.
