Don't feel like you have to buy all one brand. By doing that, you will not be getting the best in class for each appliance. There are many threads on this.

I've had a Vent-a-Hood for many years now and like it very much.

Buy the best appliance for the use, not a suite of appliances.

What is your budget and then maybe we can give you some suggestions?

Also are you considered induction cooking instead of gas?

What type of fridge are you looking at? Counter depth, integrated or full size?

Do you have a trash compactor now? Most people who have one wind up ditching them when they remodel.

Do you need a double oven or a single oven and a steam oven?

What type of microwave are you looking at? Counter model? On a shelf or a drawer microwave?

As others have written, focus on the best appliance for each use rather than feeling you need to buy all one brand.

The best appliance is going to depend on your budget - there are excellent appliances at a range of cost levels.

FWIW, when I was researching appliances earlier this year, the GE Profile refrigerator was well reviewed by Consumer Reports. The French door counter depth model was their highest reviewed.

As others have stated, trash compactors seem to be gone away in terms of people wanting them. Do you currently have one that you really like and use?

Do you need a double wall oven?

Where will you be placing the microwave. If your kitchen has space, the best solution is a cubby of some sort with a built in shelf below because you can install a relatively inexpensive microwave and replace it with no issues down the road. I wouldn't spend much time at this point worrying about a $150 or so appliance.

I'd suggest a Miele or Bosch dishwasher.
