My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    Sherwin Williams BAC Wiping stains, the following formula, 1 part Library Oak, 1 part Traditional Cherry, 1 part Mission Oak, 2 parts Black Walnut, 4 parts Golden Hickory. Yes this is tight knot, Knotty Alder.

      Is Rustic Alder the stain or the wood? I have been told a stain will look different on different types of wood. We are planning on going with either an oak or a maple wood.

      Rustic Alder is the wood specie. Yes each specie of wood will take stain differently.

      These are Rustic Alder or Knotty Alder. Same description. Clear Alder is knot free. Rustic/Knotty Alder for us is all sound knots, no see through knots.
