I think mine left last week. Seems like it's earlier this year than the previous years.

I thought they may be migrating as I have had an influx of the little guys here in North Texas the past couple of days.

This morning I saw the first of the RTs that over winter around my yard. They returned pretty much right on schedule.

It's such a joy when they show up in spring and a little bit of heartbreak when they leave us. I still have at least one female here, but it seems like the male who guarded the feeder in front left last week. Seemed a little early to me. I'll keep feeders up through October for any who are still migrating through. Now I'll be on watch for the last day I observe the one I have left. I wish them all good luck on their travels and hope to see them again next April. Seems so far away :(

Sandyslopes, after I wrote this, I did notice that I also have a female still hanging around. I still have the feeder up but she completely ignores that and only has interest in the flowers. She's very quiet! The two that were here together are gone and I hear no more whistling at all.

Houston area, here. I noticed hummers starting to visit ~ three weeks ago, and they're still around -- today, loving on my duranta and esperanza blooms. The other day, I saw one chase a Giant Swallowtail around the yard a bit as both were fighting over my pink pentas. Hoping they stick around a little while longer: it feels like they just got here.

She's gone now, too. No more hummers zooming by when I'm outside lately. I do want to find more plants they like. I like having them around.

Yep, all gone now. Not even a straggler. I was going to take down the feeder today but we got a torrential downpour so all work outside came to a halt.

Wow Turk's Cap looks really cool. I am going to look for that next year to see if they sell here as an annual.

We have thunderstorms rolling in, so lots of bird activity this morning. The hummers are on the Turk's Cap, and the other birds are at the feeders. Turks's Cap is a perennial for me. It freezes to the ground each winter and returns each spring, it is covered in blooms right now.

I have just one hummingbird left, but I still have all three feeders up. It has been a brutal summer and the flowers are fading, and with them the hummers.

Still have maybe 4-5 rubythroats here today but tomorrow they could be gone.

Still have at least 2 hummers in my yard most of today.

My two resident hummers are still here, haven't seen migratory ones much this week. Think they will all be leaving soon.
