pdangel63, I was going to cut mine back once they get established. Have you noticed any new growth yet? I'm not a fan of tall plants, though I have a few, I like the short full ones.

Yes they have been some , but I would like more branches

pdangel63, If you cut the tops they will branch faster than if you left them to branch naturally. You may want to pinch the terminal growth or cut them back a few inches. I would cut according to how you would like them.

This may no be the ideal time of year to be pruning. The ideal time is around Father's Day when the days are getting longer. Unless you are keeping them inside, they may be reticent to respond with new growth before they would normally drop their leaves and go dormant for the winter here in the northern hemisphere ...

bragu, I grow my plants inside in a grow room in the basement. I adjust the light for the seasons. My plants may slow down for the winter, but I don't think they go dormant. They retain their leaves. I have a few that I hard pruned last month and they are starting to put out new growth, hope they make it. I like to experiment and learn in the process.
