A co-worker with whom I had shared and/or traded plants with in the past asked if I might be interested in a grow light. He received it in the mail last March and has no idea who sent it even though he called his family and friends so he could thank the sender. He doesn't grow plants from seeds or cuttings so he asked if I would want it. I offered to pay him but he wouldn't accept money since he got it free. I see more plants to be gifted to him soon :)

I came home and researched it to get info on how to use one since I have always just sown seeds and grown cuttings outside with natural sunlight (I'm in SW Florida, 10a). Also needed to read up on the remote control/timer. Here's what he gave me: GRNPOWER P600 grow light

I live in a very small house so I was thinking of setting up on the lanai. Any tips from you grow light users? Photos of your grow light setups? Do you have a wire/metal shelving unit set-up to hang yours from? What plants/seeds do you grow under the lights? I am totally clueless :)
