Shower Surrounds

We are probably one of the few people who do not want a tiled shower. But we would like to have a fairly large shower. The space we have to work with is 4'6" x 5'6". We have not been able to find a shower surround bigger than 3' deep. What other options do we have? There are the panels, but they can look pretty cheap.

Any solid surface for a shower will rival the cost of the 10K it will take to tile it too. Tile isn’t a bad choice if you have someone that knows what they’re doing and used modern technology.
