How do you turn your worms green

I’m in the route business and I service walmart with product. By the way I hate walmart and do not shop there. Never have and never will.

One day while servicing one of them I saw a paper telling the department mgr in the sporting goods dept. how to display these new worms. Now they have been selling DMF worms for awhile but there is a new kid on the block. It’s red worms and they do not need refrigeration and can last for months in their container. Here is the kicker they are chartreuse colored. How do they do that. How big of an operation do they have, to be able to supply walmart all over the country. That’s a lot of worms. I don’t know what DMF did to get replaced.

knowing how walmart does business they are paying a little over $1.00 for each container plus shipping cost. I have not seen the retail price yet but I would figure $3 to $3.50

I just want to know how they make them green. Is it food coloring dye or what. Does this harm them or what
