I am moving into a home with a smaller galley kitchen. I have ordered off-white cabinets, porcelain tile that looks like a darker wood for the floor and plan on using a light cream-white granite counter top (Matterhorn from Cactus Tile) which has specs of black, brown and a few other colors in it. What I cannot decide is should I run the granite up the wall to use as the backsplash. Since the kitchen is on the smaller side and is a galley I am afraid if I use something else for backsplash it might make kitchen look smaller. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
