turmeric and cinnamon are very good anti fungal agents ... and turmeric is dirt cheap

The wax works but you need to wipe dry. I did not like dealing with it. Crazy glue is great. just don't stick yourself :-). Comes in single use tubes so it doesn't dry out so fast. Wood glue works also but did not like the look when dry.

Cinnamon....so uncomplicated to use, (powdered) smeared, onto all pruning cuts.... works great. it's cheap, easily found, and smells better than hot burnt wax. fungicides, and if you spill it, no tears, like if you spill, or drip Super-Glue.....

Beside I like cinnamon. Top coat the soil when the plants come in, gnats aren't crazy for it.

I've crazy glued plastic discs to the bottom of chopped plants, they rotted =X

I've also tried blow drying plants after a chop, that also resulted in rot.

In the last 3-5 years that I've been growing Adenium, I had never had one rot...since I started chopping roots & using glue rather than just allowing to heal & air dry, then potting up in pure dry pumice, I've had 3 rot.

Should not have been an issue, still hot here, plants were under lights and kept dry.

From now on, I'll just allow plant to dry out for several days, and pot up dry....no glue for me and no plastic discs =D

I don’t use anything either, just air dry all cuts. Works just fine :)
