A neighbor just saddled me with a pretty, and fairly large aloe. Since I've decided to have plants again, I'd like to treat it right from the get go. Currently have Hahniis in C/S mix with extra perlite and granite. Using C/S perlite, and more granite in the round leaf Sans. Will aloe he happy in similar? Getting ready to pull all in for fall. Aloe in in yard dirt, heavy and wet. Any one grow both? Are your plants happy in the same things? In the greenhouse, everything got pro mix. I have that, too, that I can mix. We have a dry winter home environment, and my new plant collection consists of plants that I routinely forget to water, indoors. A gift plant is important to me, and this us a really busy Fall! Thank you for your recommendations in this! From what I gather, aloes can be treated like sans, only with more light. Open to correction.
