Rose seedling update

Out of the three seedlings I had in spring, one survived. It’s been slowly putting on growth and needs to be repotted. It is fragrant and this bloom seemed to last a decent amount of time. I’m debating on naming it margarette of scotts or soir de Paris after the popular cologne evening in Paris

looks like I’m going to have to pot it up to a 1 or 2 gallon contianer. It’s been getting a lot of new growth and buds in these past few weeks When I checked the bottom of the pot, It has a few roots coming out of its 2 quart sized pot.

Ok, if I take a seed from, lets just say Julia Child, is that not the rose that I would get ?

No, Julia Child is a hybrid like most garden roses so the seedling would be different from the seed parent.... though it would likely have some similar traits :)
