Replace the wire pulls with something more substantial and add a mirror to the back of the cab. The laminate can be Reglued with contact cement. If it’s past regluing, take the drawer to a mom and pop cabinet shop and let them fix it. You can also change the hardware and make it a tilt-out hamper. Get baskets for each of the open shelves or have extra shelves cut for great shoe storage.

I would say you can get much better organizers for that space to me there is a hugw waste of space in that closet.Honestly that chest of drawers is not worth fixing .These are a couple of ideas of good use of space

I would start fresh if it’s in the budget, as there seems to be wasted space and I don’t find good luck on painting over that finish ( maybe someone else has better ideas?)

If you truly just want a face lift I’d put a top on the drawer unit that extends to the side wall. This would create a little counter top for guests to put carryon or purses, while still providing some hanging space. The nook created underneathcould be used to store a mini ironing board. I would then invest in matching bins or baskets to precisely fit the open shelves, which would be great for storing extra blankets and towels.

If you can't fix the chipped edges with a little white paint, contact the company and order new drawer fronts.

The master bedroom closet design looks good. Try taking everything out and deciding if there are clothes you are no longer using. Then put the clothes back in, tops on top, bottoms on bottom. Clothes that are out of season can be covered lightly.
