it's been a while since you asked, but i just put down wheldon oak in my bedroom and a spare room. i love how well it turned out! in the two rooms (which have east-facing windows) where i put it down, i think the overall color of the flooring is slightly darker/richer than what i would have guessed from the example room photo on the coretec site. i'm glad as i feel it has a good depth of color, a great matte finish and a convincing wood-look texture. when i'm up for phase 2 of revamping my condo, i'm going to install it throughout since i'm not allowed to have hardwood. anyhoo - i hope the photos help you make a decision if you haven't already.

I know this is old but I was doing a search for Wheldon Oak and this looks really nice. It's still being sold so maybe this will help someone decide. I am going to get a sample of this to view in my home.

@salonva - yes it is still being sold, I am considering it for my house and just got a sample from a local flooring store

I did bring home a sample and unfortunately it did not look very good in my space. I had none of the warmth that I see in the photo; it was somewhat gray in my space and not at all what I was looking for. It's so amazing how much these floors vary in each space.
