Are chloramines unhealthy for Sanseveria?

I would always let water sit to let chlorine evaporate, but it is my understanding that chloramines do not evaporate. Our water here is treated this way, and it's just awful to smell and taste. I use filters which seem to improve the consumption experience for humans, but I worry that my plants might be affected in some way. Please advise. Have been unable as of yet, to find information about these plants and what influence chloramines might have on them.

This is the same stuff that reddens and irritated the eyes in pools when some way they put too much chlorine in the water. After having some recent exposure to houseplants belonging to others, when everything else looks like it should be right, I'm concerned about my new little plant buddies. Thank you.
